To Windows 7 "free user": M$ update detects activation workarounds

The latest news has it that Microsoft has released a new update that attempts to detect any signs that the software's activation systems have been compromised, either via the popular RemoveWAT 2.0 crack or the older BIOS modification hack. The new update is designed to discover these illegal attempts at activating Windows 7 and then proceed to do a series of changes to the user's system.

Part of the changes will be that the background will now be black and Windows will prompt you to 'inform' you that you have been a victim of software piracy. The system will also restart every 2 hours until you give in an buy a real copy of Windows 7.

The authors of RemoveWAT immediately released a new version of their popular tool, updating it to version 2.2.5 and this version reportedly works on systems that have installed Microsoft's update by accident. If you've already updated, this new tool should work on your system and reactivate it once again, without any ill side effects.

It's somewhat strange to see the world's largest software company defeated by a small 6mb file. The game of cat and mouse continues between Microsoft and the legion of pirates out there bent on removing activation technologies in Windows 7.

The HTC HD2 with its Excellent Hardware but Archaic Operating System

The HTC HD2 with its Excellent Hardware but Archaic Operating System Cyberduck: Easy FTP for Mac! Best Torrent Uploader And Rippers [Vote] The HTC HD2 with its Excellent Hardware but Archaic Operating System   I could not help myself from being impressed with the HTC HD2. Why? Because the combination of its physical attributes is truly exceptional Almost like a smartphone for $200 and a two-year subscription from T-Mobile. But I was somehow dismayed when I discovered that it has but an obsolete OS, the Windows Mobile 6.5 which cannot be upgraded with the WinMo 7 once it's out. Stunning Design Nevertheless, the minimalist design is really exceptional. Stainless steel, soft black rubber body, very chic appearance though it's a little larger than most smartphones (4.7 x 2.6 x .4 inches). This slightly bigger built is accounted to accommodate the 480 by 800 pixel resolution in its 4.3 inches WVGA screen (responsive but sluggish on the average). Beneat...

I had no idea that there were a lot of options for in-game purchases for these online games. Some offer monthly subscriptions, pay-per-play, and free-to-play. But when you look at these games, most of them cater to much older players. This is why Sony created the kid-friendly MMO Free Realms. My Sony Free Realms MMO Review I tried the games for myself.
