Micromax Launches Dual-SIM Capable Ezpad Q5 Mobile Phone With Full QWERTY Keypad

Micromax has announced the launches its latest Ezpad Q5 Mobile Phone that is Dual-SIM capable and comes equipped with Full QWERTY Keypad with Track Ball.

Micromax Ezpad Q5 phone has 2.2-inch, 320 x 240 pixels wide, 262K color capable QVGA display and features a full QWERTY keypad and trackball based navigation. It comes with 15-MB internal memory and offers support for microSD slot with upto 8-GB expandable storage capacity allowing upto 1000 entries phonebook with 1000 SMS memory.

Measuring 115 x 62 x 12.5 mm, and weighing 95 gms, the new Micromedia Q5 is Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) capable dual-band GSM 900/1800 MHz network ready and offers 2.0 Megapixel camera with 1600 x 1200 resolution and digital zoom feature with video recording capabilities.

Equipped with media player that supports MP3, AMR, MIDI, and WAV audio formats, the handset also allows background music playback while users work on other functions of the phone and offers Flight Mode that allows users to access its music, camera and other functions without having to switch on the phone function or network connectivity.

The Micromax Expad Q5 handset also offers GPRS and fast EDGE data connectivity, USB port, and comes with built-in Bluetooth v2.1 + A2DP allowing stereo music playback using compatible stereo Buluetooth headset totally wirelessly.

In addition, the Micromax Q5 handset also features FM radio with RDS feature and scheduled recording feature and offers a e-Book reader (only TXT support), Opera Mini browser, IM clients, (no email feature), video player, few built-in games, speakerphone, WAP 2.0 browse, and comes preloaded with Facebook application. But lack of JAVA support means you can not download Java based applications and new games from web.

Equipped with Li-ion 1000 mAh standard battery that can provide upto 5 hours of talktime and upto 200 hours of standby time, the Micromx Expad Q5 is available in India for the price of Rs. 5,100 with one year warranty.

Micromax Dual-SIM Capable X215 Phone Coming Soon

Micromax will soon announced the launches of Micromax X215 Mobile Phone that is Dual-SIM capable Dual Standby dual-band GSM network ready handset that offers microSD expandable memory slot.

The upcoming candy-bar style Micromax X215 phone comes equipped with 1.4-inch, 128 x 128 pixels wide, 65K color capable QVGA display and features five way navigational key below display and above keypad. It comes with unspecified amount of internal memory and offers support for microSD slot with upto 2-GB maximum storage capacity enabling upto 1000 entries phonebook with 500 SMS memory.

Weighing 65 gms, the upcoming Micromedia X215 phone is dual-band GSM 900/1800 MHz network ready and offers 1.3 Megapixel camera with 1280 x 1024 resolution and digital zoom feature with video recording capabilities.

Equipped with media player that supports MP3, AMR, MIDI, and WAV audio formats, the X215 handset also allows background music playback while users work on other functions of the phone and offers Flight Mode that allows users to access its music, camera and other functions without having to switch on the phone function or network connectivity.

The Micromax X215 handset also offers GPRS ( no EDGE ) data connectivity, USB port, but does not sport wireless Bluetooth connectivity option.

In addition, the Micromax X215 handset also features FM radio with RDS with RDS and live scheduled FM recording capability, few built-in games, speakerphone, video player (supports 3GP and MP4 video formats), WAP browser, Torch, Scheduled SMS option, and Blacklist SMS and Calls feature. There is no Java support either. There is added support for larger SMS and it also offers photo caller ID feature.

Equipped with Li-ion 1000 mAh 3.7V standard battery that can provide upto 4 hours of talktime and upto 300 hours of standby time, the Micromx X215 handset is expected to be available soon across India for the price of Rs. 2,500 with one year warranty.
